Know any details about Adoption in Ohio?

My husband and I are considering adopting domestically, my concern is, isn't there a "waiting period/trial period" in which the biological mother could change her mind and take the baby back? I have heard there is no option for this in an international adoption. Anyone know what the Ohio laws are? We live in Ohio, but would be open to either domestic or international adoption, I am just nervous about that "take back" time. Anyone have any experiences or info on this. We have just started to look into adoption, and are signed up for some introductory siminars, but I'm anxious about this waiting period and want to know asap. Thanks.
