villhelm is generally right, however there is an exception to everything. If I see questions on Harry Potter, for example, I will jump in there. A LOT of those questions are jokes. And jokes might get the best answer. Be short. I'm never short. I'm sure I've lost best answer for it. Also censor yourself. Obscenities might seem like something fun or free, but a variety of people read this. Being polite is also helpful, though again if I feel strongly enough I will refrain from courtesies (and got one angry letter over that -- tee hee). Choose subjects you know the answer to, or think you do and be honest, as villhelm said, and you will be amazed at the number of thumbs up that you get.
