Is a 15.1 hand quarter mare to small to be a recipient mare for embryo of a 16 hand thoroughbred donor mare?

My thoroughbred mare is just coming 5 but has had a huge growth spurt in the last 6 months from 15.2 to 16 -16.1 hands. I was not expecting her to grow that much since her mother is the smaller of 15.3. I am planning to do an embryo transfer from her to a 15.1 quarter mare. Is this okay? I don't have another recipient mare that is bigger.
