Can anyone help with a condom anxiety?

Does anyone else have a problem with condoms spoiling the moment? I have a real issue with this since my early 20's. I get very paranoid and anxious when putting one on which tends to spoil the whole experience. I find them very tight (on the girth side, not the lenght) so I'm going to try some larger ones and see if that helps. When wearing them, I can't help but think about my and keeping firm. It often results in a no-go which is disapointing for both. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep my mind free from anxiety when I use those horrible things? I know without them is unsafe and very risky, but at least it works, and works well! I don't have a problem having an , I just have a problem thinking about maintaining one when I've got this tight latex thing squeezing my manhood.
